Prohibited and restricted items
Do not list illegal, unsafe or regulated goods unless Australian and state law clearly permits the sale and every required licence, registration and safety condition is met.

- Illegal drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit goods or items obtained without authority.
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, prohibited weapons or instructions primarily intended to cause harm.
- Recalled or dangerously defective products, unsafe electrical goods, asbestos, hazardous chemicals or contaminated materials.
- Prescription medicines, controlled substances, human remains, protected wildlife products or illegal pornography.
- Personal data, identity documents, financial credentials or access devices.
Restricted categories
Alcohol, vehicles, knives, age-restricted media, cultural heritage objects, plants, animal products, medical equipment and some antiques can carry licensing, provenance, safety or transfer duties. The seller must verify the rules before listing. When uncertain, leave the item out.
Reporting
Every public sale and item page has a report control. Reports can be made without an account. We may hide a listing while reviewing a safety or legality concern and record the moderation decision.
